Is it possible, with your Serial-V evaporator, to obtain concentrated DRY muds?
No, sorry. Not with Serial-V. We can propose one unit from the Serial-ES instead where the boiler is arranged horizontally. With this type of equipment the heat-exchanger consists of a "shirt" made of embossed stainless steel which covers the lower half of the boiler. Due to this design the power consumption is higher – up to approx 250 Watts per each litre of water evaporated – but, on the other hand, it is possible to reach the "ULTIMATE" concentration and obtain a concentrate which is almost in a dry condition. This will further reduce the costs of disposal with respect to the liquid concentrate which is delivered from the Serial-V evaporators but because the concentrate is like a "paste" and therefore NOT PUMPABLE, the discharge of this type of evaporator has to be done BY HAND after opening the port-hole at the end of the automatic working cycle. For the same reason we have identified the maximum capacity for Serial-ES to be 1000 litres of water evaporated over 24 hours. I would also like to mention that in every situation where the cost of the disposal of wastewater is really too high and the volume is well over the limit of 1000 litres in 24 hours of Serial-ES, the best solution we can propose is to install one Serial-V evaporator to reduce the volume down to 1000 litres and then convey the 1000 litres to one Serial-ES unit thus obtaining the highest possible level of concentration.
